About us 

Funded by the Federal Department of Employment and Workplace Relations, 10dayspaidFDVleave.com.au is a collaboration between Transitioning Well and HR Legal. It is the product of extensive consultation, research and feedback with the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations, the Fair Work Ombudsman, the Department of Social Services, the small business community and family and domestic violence services.  

The aim of this website is to help business owners understand their obligations around paid family and domestic violence leave provisions. It also offers resources to help small business work towards best practice to support their employees who may be experiencing family and domestic violence to access the leave.

Working with small business experts and lived experience consultants, we have built a comprehensive workplace support package for small business owners. The site delivers resources in a variety of formats focused on legal obligations, knowledge, awareness and skills in supporting staff impacted by family and domestic violence.

Transitioning Well and HR Legal are proud to be partnering to build this program, and acknowledge the valuable contributions of COSBOA, Small Business Australia, Australian Hairdressing Council, Women’s Legal Services Australia and our lived experience consultants in the building of this resource.
